CADL is pleased to have Kris Rzepczynski from the Library of Michigan present this program. Drawn by high-paying manufacturing jobs and inexpensive land, thousands of people migrated to Michigan during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This session, aimed at researchers whose ancestral trails extend to and from Michigan, will explore these migration patterns and provide an overview of the rich and abundant genealogical resources available in print and online.
Visit CADL’s genealogy page to access many of the resources discussed in the classes. You may find treasures like this — my colleague Jessica and I both had sergeants in the family. On the left is Jessica’s grandfather and on the right is my great uncle.
